The episode had the weird situation of George getting smart when he has to give up sex because his girlfriend thinks (wrongly) that she has Mono. As it turns out Elaine's (almost) doctor who is somewhat of a dim bulb. was responsible for the misdianosis. Elaine reasons that if George is getting smarter because of abstaince, the same thing will work for her dim bulb boyfriend. Her intrest isn't purely laudable. She is intrested in the snob value of having a doctor boyfriend (Jewish doctor?)
However the beauty from Towson, Maryland finds that going without sex. makes her dumb. The irony is that after the dim bulb passes his Medical board exam he drops her. Elaine is so desperite for her lost smarts she asks Jerry to have sex with her. Jerry turns her down.
Added to this plotline is a sub plotline about jerry being booked at a career day and being bumped. All-in-all this was one off the walll show. I give it a 2 thumbs up!
