Fans debate whether Elaine's airplane scene was funny, with mixed opinions on whether her subplot detracted from the episode's humor.
I think the first show was good but would of been even better if they cut Elaine's part out and used something different! I mean come on the whole scene with her and her bothfriend in the plane sucked! It wasn't funny at all, and if that part was out the overall show would have been a lot more funny. I loved the Kramer/ Newman butter thing. The George thing was classic George... thats my only problem... what do you guys think... Email me if you have any comments..

But, seriously... either people are so sure of their opinions that they have to emphasize them - <your subject here> SUCKS! - or the "I think/felt/believe..." is just assumed. If anything, the newsgroups have taught me that there are ALL levels of geniuses and idiots with keyboards out there. A lot of opinions I agree with, a lot I don't, but I always picture somebody behind an opinion, not the opinion as the definitive answer.
Plus - remember the typing/proofreading abilities of some people. Don't overburden them with extra, bandwidth-sucking (hey! a whole 'nother argument thread ;) words. Poor souls.

You know, I could be wrong, but I don't believe that Elaine was in the first episode. I guess they listened to you and cut out all her parts. Hmmmm, maybe you're referring to another show, maybe this seasons' first episode...
