Who won The Contest?

In the end of The Contest, it's down to George and Jerry. The final scene shows them both sleeping like logs - so which one won all the money?

But "circumstantial evidence" for a "George win" may be found in "The Contest" episode itself (it aired last night in the NYC area).

First, note how it's implied that somebody won, since they all appear to be sleeping soundly at the end. We know of course it was down to Jerry and George.

Now recall the scene where Marla leaves. Jerry at this point shrugs and decides what the heck he's giving in, setting himself down to enjoy the peep show across the way (the naked lady that led to Kramer's "I'm out!").

Thus, a case can be made from the great episode itself that indeed George won.

Yeah absolutely.

I could not help wondering last night if Julia and "john john" ever crossed paths in real life; and what would have been said between the two? Obviously its acting but still he might have joked with her about it, I am sure he is aware of the episode.

Of course someone is going to point out that the show was taped in La and she lives in La; nevertheless I would bet they had run into each other before his death.
