Tonight's Seinfeld...

Boy, that was a good one.

But why does Seinfeld have such a hard time managing a relationship? It would be cool to see him stay with a woman... I'd like that, I'd feel happy! :)

Seinfeld in a steady relationship would be BORRRRIINGGG in my opinion. The exciting chemistry of the show would be radically altered...look at what happened to "Moonlighting".

My question is- why did the guy at the gym give Elaine an open-mouthed kiss if he was interested in the manager?

I suppose that's what Mad About You is for... although they don't get along very well, either. :^) But DEFINITELY longer than the majority of the Seinfeld relationships! I think it's nice that he and Elaine can still be good friends after breaking up... I remember seeing Maria Louise-Dreyfuss (sp) in an interview and she said something like, "I don't know why Elaine hangs around those three guys. She should get out and move on with her life." I found that rather amusing.

Maybe not a permanent relationship in the show, but keep the better ones in for a couple episodes. I thought the Susan and Marla storylines were great, especially Marla's and Jerry's tactics in that situation. Michael Richards was doing an interview once (I think it was in Entertainment Weekly, but I'm not sure) and said that he would have liked the "low talker" to be in several more episodes, but he said something to the extent of "it just wouldn't happen in our show. You know that if you play a part in our show, it's a one-shot deal."

Perhaps because he was just unaware of his blatant habit of spreading germs, which I think served as a good way of balancing out George's shower urination habits, since the guy was constantly insulting George behind his back. Haha, I loved it when George said something like, "He leaves a used Kleenex lying around - what is that? A valentine?!"

-- Didn't George have a girlfriend who stayed on for a while? The NBC exec, right? I think it worked out alright, but only because George was constantly complaining about the state of their relationship (can you say 'bird in the hand'?). It would be tough, I think to have one of them really get along with someone for a prolonged period- after all, why hang out with your 3 weird friends, if you have someone else that you really love?

Yeah, that girl was Susan, who I mentioned earlier... she's the one who turned to lesbianism once she and George broke up, after being vomited on by Kramer, and then having her father's cabin burnt down to the ground by the Cuban cigars that she gave to George who gave them to Kramer.
