There was an episode where George met a girl from the old neighborhood that thaught he's gonna have a nervous brakedown. George seemed very anxious for her to think highly of him. Was he trying to make a pass at her? What about Susan? I found it unchacrtersicy for George to want to be in a wommon good favor just as a friend.

I think it was the December 14th episode with Lloyd Braun in it. Lloyd had a nervous breakdown in the past because he lost an election and so did "Pop" who is the father of Gina, the girl you are talking about. When George went to drop presents off at his parents house, he saw Pop and Gina and they said hi. Pop got under the hood of George's car and was hitting it with a wrench. It messed something up in the engine and the John Voight car was "no more." When he told Gina that he wanted Pop to pay for the damage, she said that a sign of nervous breakdowns(she knows because her father had one) was blaming others for things and taking pleasure in the misfortune of others. George was pissed off because he said the cashier at Monks took his $20 bill, and Pop messed up his car. Due to some of these things, Gina thought she saw signs of craziness in him. He sees her in the episode where there is a doll that looks like his mother and he is talking to the doll in the restaurant, and in the latest episode where he is admitted into the insane asylum. Does that explain it?
The only time George came close to cheating on Susan was with Marisa Tomei when he met her in the park. She slapped him when he told her he was engaged.
This was in The Gum, which is the same episode where Kramer is helping to open an old movie theater. George meets the woman, after he finds out that Lloyd, who is also from 'the old neighborhood' had a nervous breakdown. This comes up when she tells George that her father had a breakdown. George tells her about Lloyds breakdown in order to belittle Lloyd, who was successful. She thinks that he is going crazy, and suggests that he get help. This ties in with The Bottle Deposit, where George ends up in the institution, and runs into her again, as she is visiting her father.
