The whole marriage thing was a lame premise, but tonight's episode turned out to be quite funny. A lot of good moments; my favorite was when Jerry and the French woman were on the street: Jerry: Hangers or box? Woman: You decide.

I'm not sure I agree with your statement about the Scenes with Jerry and the French woman. I think that was the most trying part of the episode. The shows seems to be moving toward overdoing/ overdramatising good material. The French woman in the street bit just wouldn't and couldn't happen. I had the same feeling from the lip-reading episode. If you listen to the dialog, it just doesn't ring true: "What's the matter with six? Six is good." (from the lip-reading episode; Hope I didn't misquote) That's just not the way people speak in real life. Another example from the same episode is: "I wouldn't want to sweep alone." Who would use exactly those words? What makes Seinfeld really funny is that most of the mishaps/problems that occur REALLY DO HAPPEN to the average person. Who hasn't been caught in an embarressing lie or been "caught peeking" at something or someone? Seinfeld is my favorite show. I just hope they more or less adhere to the standards they started with.

That was pretty funny... how about: Meryl: "What is that, leather?" Jerry: "No, gortex."
...that was funny in that it reflected the episode they aired a couple weeks ago where George gets that rediculously HUGE gortex jacket.
