So what is the consensus of the group? Was the opening of the new season up to old standards? I thought the scene of Newman finally going after Kramer with bared teeth was hilarious, but George being chased on his electric cart by all the old folks was a little slap stick.

This was a classic Steinfield episode. No explaination is needed for the motives of George's most recent employer. Just go with it.

Did you notice when Jerry was talking with someone about Bania (or is it Banya) that mention was made of good reviews that Banya received on the internet? Hmmm...
I was so happy the new season had finally arrived - I was ready to be easily pleased, and was to a certain degree - it was nice to see all the regulars and some other characters from previous shows - but looking back I don't think this show has what it takes to be one of the classics that I like to see over and over.
