The gullibility factor is rising to the nth degree here, because I thought Mansfield was decapitated in a horrible car crash.

she was decapitated...Seinfeld is a situation comedy not the History Channel ...the suffocation remark was a joke :))

What gives? Seinfeld is a fictional cmedy. Its not intended to reflect reality in every sentense and phrase thats' said on the show.
Just to set the record straight, while Jayne Mansfield died in a horrible car crash in Mississippi in 1967, she was NOT decapitated...that's become one of those urban myths...
BTW, didn't one of her daughters, Mariska Hargitay, once appear on a Seinfeld episode?
Both were correct: Jane Mansfield had her breasts decapitated and they "flew"into her mouth, choking her. It was horrible. I was there and saw the whole thing. Yeah, that's the ticket, I was driving the car right behind her and nearly wrecked myself. I gave her CPR ( chest pulmonary rescusitation) for hours, but was unable to bring her around. homerr
