Why hasn't anyone questioned what kind of parents let their children watch Seinfeld, a program that airs at 8:30pm on a schoolnight (that's 9:30 for you eastcoasters out there)?

Really, kids too young to crankyank probably shouldn't be watching Seinfeld. It is an adult program with adult themes. Adult in the literal sense, not the Rochelle, Rochelle sense.

Mr. Wildmon, his followers, and their sympathizers need to clue in: the particular episode they are so offended by is (I dare say) the most popular episode of the program, and not just because masturbation is a popular activity. It was funny. Let the Reverend Don watch the Waltons, and don't tell me what to watch.

And Don, if you're reading this, go fondle yourself.

While I agree with you that parents should handle their kids tv watching, I believe that Wildmon was saying the show was offensive to adults too. While you may not find it offensive, Wildmon felt that his audience, those who read AFA mag, would. Wildmon was saying that if enough people agree with this, they should boycott the sponsors. If you think other people shouldn't be censoring the shows you watch, then you'd better give the Nielsen people a call because that's their purpose in life. Hey, this is not an attack on you, I'm just trying to present another side to the story. I think Seinfeld is hilarious and if enough people agree with you and me, then you've got nothing to worry about.

Just one question: What is with the "Herr"? Are you trying to say something with that or are you just trying to show off you three words you know in German?
