Who ever won "The Contest"?....I say its George.
Master of your Domain!
Jawge did comment in another episode that he was a sexual camel and could easily do six weeks without sex.
You would be right sport. In a later episode where George becomes a hand model, the photographers tell him how the greatest hand model lost his job because he developed a serious masturbation habit and his hand froze in a grotesque claw postion. George tells them they have nothing to worry about and points out that he even won a contest.

George is also a notorious and shameless liar. I think that there is not enough evidence to tell who won and that it is either Jerry or George.

Granted, George can lie with the best of them, but in the moment where he sheepishly states "You don't have to worry about me, I won a contest." I felt a certain 'sincerity' that we don't get from George when he's lying and we know it. I think the job was his regardless of how he responded to the 'Ray McKechney' story (anyone know how that's supposed to be spelled??) so he didn't stand to gain anything by lying. Nobody involved in the contest was there to hear it, so the motivation to lie wasn't there.
Thanks for backing me up on this one. I really never thought there was any question as to who won the contest.

I don't know... remember George's philosophy of "It's not a lie if you believe it." I can easily imagine George thinking, "It's not masturbation if you don't touch it", thereby justifying, in his own mind at least, that by wearing a glove, or making strategic use of a Shower Massage, he could win the contest without making any real personal sacrifice... if you catch my drift. Kind of like having his cake and beating it, too.

There was an article about the show in the N.Y. Times Magazine a few years ago that talked specifically about the contest. The article said that the writers had thought about reprising the contest the following season, with George coming into Jerry's apartment proclaiming that he is still "master of my domain" and the others responding, "What, are you still doing that? We gave that up a long time ago."
I think there is no question that George won, even though we never saw money change hands. It's been a long time since I saw the episode, but I think George is the only one of the contestants that we never saw sleeping soundly, with a big smile on his face, which was the giveaway that another contestant had succumbed.
I believe this fact was confirmed in the episode where George became a hand model. They said a past hand model had become obsessed with himself and his hands turned into "claws". George said something to the effect, "No problem..I won a contest." George AND Jerry.
