NBC Suits

One of the secrets of Seinfeld has always been uncanny casting and direction. Because of this, even a cop or janitor with perhaps only three lines who appears for a few seconds and is gone- never to be seen again on the show- gives a brilliant and riveting performance- better than the regular and major supporters on just about every other sit com out there. The writers deserve some credit in seeing to the details in every snippet of dialogue- but the people who find actors to handle the shows minor parts must surely be the main reason. Either they have found some incredible source for actors unknown to every other show on the planet, or they really know how to pick them out of a crowd -like nobody else in the business. There have been a few exceptions - but very very few and generally this area has been consistently excellent. However Thursdays premier presented one of these exceptions- the two NBC guys who gave Banya their cards were absolutely lame. No camera presence at all. This fact leads me to believe that they were real NBC suits- does anyone know? (If so, shame on Jerry for selling out.)
