What's up with last night's show? Although I think it was a great episode, I'm confused about how Newman's apartment (5E) suddenly moved across the hall, next door to Kramer, and became this guy Phil's apartment. After all these years does Newman suddenly not live there anymore? That's a little hard to believe. Besides, If Jerry is 5A, and Kramer is 5B, then next door to Kramer should naturally be 5D.

And, in an episode earlier this year, that apartment WAS numbered either 5D or 5C! (I forget which it was, but I know it wasn't 5E).
I saw Kramer living in 5A on one episode (can't remember which) .
I know, at first I thought that Phil was the robber and he was breaking into Newman's apartment.
They've messed this up before so just take it and go.....Newman was in 5F in "The Doodle"
Also, from the street it sure doesn't look like he's 5 stories high.

In the Latvian Orthodox episode, the fine-looking blonde with the fungicide lives in Apt. 5E. Not only that, but Apt. 5E was not located beside Kramer's apartment, it was located on the perpendicular wall down the hall (it was beside Kramer's in the Strongbox). The Latvian Orthodox episode also featured a rare shot of Jerry entering his apartment to the right of the TV screen!
