HCR>Don't remember. What character did Courtney Cox play on Family Ties?

She played Alex's second girlfriend, after what's-her-name... oh man, well, the girl who he's married to right now in real life.

Name game - the episode with Dan Cortese is the one in question. Jerry's girlfriend (Jane - the one who "can't spare a square")... I've seen her somewhere before, but I simply could not place her. I think I remember her from the Facts of Life, but I have a feeling that she's done more since then. If anyone can help me out, please do. Thanks!

Yeah (and thanks for reminding me of Michael J. Fox's real wife's name!), that's the one... I think the first Family Ties episode she appeared in was the one where she hooks Alex up to the lie detector machine, which was the same episode where she's testing it on the monkeys as well.

Woah... I'll have to catch that video on VH1 one of these days... I've seen that video too many times and I still can't picture her face on that girl in the video. Thanks for the info...

All I remember is that she looked absolutely WICKED in her Levi's 501 jeans and a white t-shirt, with short hair (neck length)

I believe that Michael J. Fox's real-life wife was the first one from Family Ties (I think her name was Ellen in the show - long blonde/brown hair), not Courtney Cox.

No, she wasn't on Facts of Life but she has been around for about 13 years or so. Now-a-days she usually plays the sexy roles. If you go far, far back though you might remember a show in the early 80's that was only on for two seasons called "Square Pegs" She played the little miss perfect, pres. student council, bitch that you loved to hate. Speaking of, someone elso on that show is still around too. She played one of the "nerd girls" (the show was about two "spuare pegs(nerds)" who wanted to get popular in high school) anyway, her name fails me at the moment but she went on to do "LA Story" as the sexy young affair role and she was in "Honneymoon in Vegas" too.

I'm not sure about this... but I thought the "spare a square" girl was Jami Gertz, and I thought that the girl in "Square Pegs" was Jami Gertz, but I thought the girl in "LA Story" and "Honeymoon in Vegas" was Sarah Jessica Parker. Both are very attractive, sure, but one's a brunette, the other a blonde. I don't think SJP has ever been on Seinfeld.
