TV Ratings & Seinfled

I noticed at the beginning of "The Contest" in the upper left hand side of the screen that said "TV-PG-ds" What on earth does the ds mean? It changes for different episodes...

The D stands for dialogue and the S stands for sexual content. They also have an L for language, I believe.

Might be "descriptive service" where there's a seperate audio track which describes character action for the blind. I've seen this on my satellite dish for TCM.

I'm sure you could get this info in your local TV listings BUT....

"D" is for "Dialogue" (i.e. mature dialogue) "S" is for "Sexual Content" (I won't explain what THAT means)! "V" is violence etc....
