Entertainment Tonight had a short segment on Kramer today. The *real* Kramer -- the one the TV character is based on.

They also had some obSeinfeld clips (from "The Contest" -- `Hey! There's a naked woman across the street!' and `I'm out').

The guy's last name is actually `Kramer'. His first name is...

Kelly.

He also said that all the physical comedy is Michael Richards'. He said "I couldn't do things like that with my body since I stopped taking acid in the 60's".

He's also working on a book called _Kramer Speaks_, which will reportedly detail how some real-life events made it to the show.

According to the article, Larry, who lived in the apartment on the right-hand side of the hallway, was the one who was always digging in Kramer's fridge, in the left-hand apt. It seems the 'real' Kramer also enjoys watching people from the window of his apartment, with binoculars. I noticed that he did look somewhat like Michael Richards, too.
