Question about George's wife Susan

Does anyone else dislike her and the parts of the episodes she's in? Its not that George is getting married to her, its just that she's ugly and and she's annyoing and she wines alot. It hate that. Does anyone else agree?

I never particularly cared for Susan either. She didn't "fit in" with the rest of the group, she didn't have the attributes that we came to love about them, and it would have been an early death for the show if she had married George.

As for her looks, in some eps she looked more attractive than others. Still too good looking to be with George. ;-)

My opinion, of course...

I liked her better in her 1st go-round with the show; when she was working for NBC. For some reason I didn't find her as aggreable the season she was engaged to George. I think like people are saying...she was too whiney.

I respectfully disagree with you. Only when she dumped the group because of what she perceived as their shallow, pointless, togetherness was I annoyed with her character. And believe me, compared to the others, she held no substantial monopoly on whining. Otherwise, she added some human dimension to the show, in particular and simply, her sweetness for believing in love. Just my opinion. LKeavney wrote in message ...

I actually really liked Susan up until "The Invitations." In that episode, she got so obnoxious so quickly that I cheered when she keeled over. LOL But other than that episode, I liked her...she seemed like a nice, normal person, although not really right for George.

Even George was ambiguous about his feelings for her. At first he thought he was in love after making the unofficial pact with Jerry. Then as he was climbing the stairs to her apartment, he felt like a prisoner. George didn't seem too disappointed when she was pronounced dead by the assman. This, of course was carefully observed by the proctologist/surgeon who was called in the good samaritan trial. I personally felt that George deserved better.

He wasn't the ASSMAN....he was the doctor from "The Summer of George", but not the ASSMAN....different actors.......
