Larry David

I think Larry David was in toight's epsiode, _The Gum_. Towards the end of the show George stops to buy a pack of gum. I think Larry David sells him the gum.

What a fantastic episode it was, there must have been 100 loose ends introduced and nicely wrapped up. Unfortunately, the version I saw had been cut so there could be more commercials. A scene where George was in an insane asylum. The station I watch has also introduced 'crawlers' along the bottom of the screen DURING THE EPISODE. With another crawler at the top of the screen they could have a show with 200% commercials.

The show was also a great demonstration of what a nice guy Kramer is, always kind to everyone, its no wonder everybody (in the scripts) loves Kramer.

I am pretty sure there was no scene in an insane asylum in that ep, even in the uncut version. George is put in an asylum in the ep where Kramer and Newman want to go to Michigan so they can get a dime for each bottle they collect instead of a nickel the other states offer.

Yes...there was no scene in an asylum in "The Gum." The scene where George is in an asylum and sees Pop is in "The Bottle Deposit," at the very end.

Yes, that was Larry refusing George's twenty-dollar bill.

Right-  but this scene was a direct reference to the events that occur in "The
Gum",  -an unusually direct continuation of "The Gum's" plot.    So it would be
very easy to get confused about this.   And yes that is Larry David who rejects
George's "president",  when his majesty tries to purchase some gum.
