Yes indeed that was a Saab 900 convertible (and the show was a repeat). My dad works for the company, and he mentioned that Jerry would be driving a Saab this season. It came up because Jerry wanted a black convertible, and the only one in the country at the time was being driven by my dad's boss. On account of Seinfeld being comedy king and all, he got the car. As soon as they showed it (in the scene where Kramer, Newman, and Jerry are waiting outside the bar), my phone started ringing. "There it is!" yelled my dad.

That's pretty sweet... I'm not a big Saab fan, but that car is a pretty nice one. I like MB 500SL convertibles ("I know a lot of bald men who drive convertibles!"), but I think that car is only a 2-seater ("What if the pigman only had a 2-seater?"), and I don't think they could've fit Newman in the trunk. <G> ...sorry for all the quotes, couldn't help myself.
