This Week's Episode- 3/17

I just saw the promos for this Thursday's show and it looks really funny. Courtney Cox (Family Ties) guest stars and plays Jerry's wife!!!??? Somehow its some crazy marriage and the commercials of course don't explain anything. You see Courtney on the couch ordering Jerry around and the gang in shock--Married??? This one's gotta be a keeper. I'm glad that they have been having such good shows lately. :-)

Don't remember. What character did Courtney Cox play on Family Ties?

She was Alex Keaton's girlfriend (not Tracy Pollan, but a later one).

She's also the girl in the Springsteen video "Dancing in the Dark" who gets pulled up to dance on stage at the end.

She also dates Michael Keaton in real life or perhaps that's no longer the case.

Isnt/wasnt she also Michael J Fox's wife?

Michael J. Fox's wife is Tracy Pollan (sp?), who was his previous "girlfriend" on the show. She was an art student or a dancer or something, and she got the opportunity to study in Paris, and Alex got all upset because of it and was a real prick. Nice heart-tugging scene, though, when they made up at the end in the train station to "At this Moment," by Billy and the Beaters.

YES! A friend, who's a big fan of the show, but who has always thought the weakest part was Jerry's acting, pointed this out to me some time ago. Since then, I watch for how good Jerry's thespian abilities are. While I have noticed he's not Deniro, last show I thought he was _really_ bad. Wooden, just like you said.

Yeah, it was a great episode... I couldn't believe the way Kramer looked after coming out of the tanning salon. "I see a damn fool!" Hahaha... it was strange that Courtney Cox was on there since I had just watched Ace Ventura a couple nights before... not a good movie, but she's a very beautiful actress. George's urinating in the showers was hilarious.

As an obvious graduate of the William Shatner school of acting, you can only go so long before your lack of acting ability catches up with you. However, since the show is so well written (mostly), you sometimes don't notice the acting as much.
