who won the master of the domain contest?

I was wondering who actually won the king of the domain contest

I think it was Jerry.

Who won "The Contest". Everybody want's to know. I think the winners was George AND Jerry, not one of them. Why?!? At the end of the episode both Jerry AND George slept, just like Kramer and Elaine did when thay lost. It's true George mentions that he "won a contest" in the episode "The Hand Modell", but as we all know.... George lies a lot. So can we trust what he said......NO!!!!! Jerry and George won!!!!!!

But George is a self-proclaimed liar. In fact he's said "My whole life is a lie, Jerry!" So, perhaps he didn't win the contest. I think that's the whole point, though. The writers left the contest winner abiguous on purpose.

But wait, if George's whole life is a lie, then everything he says is a lie. If he said he's a liar, then he must have been telling the truth. But how could he tell the truth if his whole life is a lie, and .... <G>

It was definitely George, because when he first became a hand model and was told the story of his predecessor (can't remember his name) who had masturbated to the point where his hands became twisted claws, George said "You don't have to worry about me; I won a contest."

No way to ever know for sure...

Guys, if they tied, as the guy in purple says, then George can say he won without lying. He never said he was the sole winner.

The problem with saying that they tied is that there is no basis for this. If there was a scene where George walks in and sheepishly attempts to pay up, and Jerry says, "No, I caved too, something had to give." Then I'd agree with you, they tied.

While I feel George won, I'm troubled by the scene where they show the gang sleeping. I watch it over and over, trying to pick up what they were trying to tell us. It wasn't even clear that George was having a rough time sleeping the first time they showed the gang.

if george were ever lying and we, the audience were not in on it, how would we know? i think they both won.

OK, for the umpteenth time, George won the contest. How do we know, well, in the episode where George's hands were used in advertising, the lady commented on how nice his hands were, and he replied, "I take good care of them. In fact I once won a contest." The contest...get it?

Please excuse my not-so-good attitude...this question comes up once a month. It ranks up there with "Is George Jewish". (Like, who gives a f---, right?) :)

Remember, this is George we're talking about. George, the same guy who's lied to every woman he ever met, every employer he ever had, his parents, his friends, and even the bubble-boy!

Can't you accept that he might have been trying to impress the advertising people? At the very least, he misleads them. 'Takes good care of his hands', yeah right. This is a guy who can't even control himself while reading a Glamour magazine!

OK. Here's the scoop on "The Contest":

George won it! In the episode where George beomes a "hand model," it is NOT referenced in response to a comment about how nice his hands look. It is in response to the comment made that his were the best hands since another great hand model named Ray McKechnie. George asks what happened to him. They all look down, and one says, "He could have had any woman in the world, but none could match the beauty of his own hand." George says, "You mean...?" And the other guy replies, "Yes, he was NOT the master of his domain." He then tells George the story and finishes by saying, "I hope you will have more self-control." George responds, "You don't have to worry about me, I won a contest." So he was NOT trying to impress the woman.

Also, at the end of "The Contest," after Kramer and Elaine have been eliminated, Jerry is about to have sex with Marla the virgin, until he stupidly tells her about The Contest. He is so sexually wound up after she runs out that he goes to the window to watch the naked woman. It is IMPLIED that he then "does the deed."

If any one can refute this, I welcome their input.

This sounds like what happened, the best I can remember. I guess George DID win!
