What time of day does Jerry/Kramer go to dig up the bird?

I might be missing something, but I thought I would post and find out.

I was watching it tonight, the one where Kramer and Jerry go to dig up the bird to get the key. They are dressed in tuxes and Jerry needs his cufflinks, so I assume this is evening, perhaps before dinner to go to this event where Jerry is going to meet Jerry Lewis. They leave to go dig up the bird, the next scene or so it of George who invited these two women to lunch and I get the impression it is daylight. The next scene or so is Kramer and Jerry at night digging up the bird. Did this take place the next day? Cause it looks like it was evening, George's lunch scene, and then the evening again. Or have I overlooked something? Thanks!

i can shed a little light here...first off i'll mention that the episode is the 14th in the 9th season called the strongbox...now this may not mean anything but you'll no that in the winter with the time changes and such it's dark at about 4pm in new york and throughout most of the central and eastern US that i know of..

so you see george at lunch and his 2 "girlfriends" run into each other out of georges plan....prior to this scene jerry and kramer are already dressed up when they think about getting the key back from Phil the guy down the hall....there is no day change during this phase into george...they are just dressed up early as i'm sure this jerry lewis deal was atlike 5 or 6 pm...and maybe they were gonna go early george eats alot so we can assume it was a late lunch as he did something with the one girl earlier in the day before lunch....

so even though it's dark when jerry and kramer goto dig up the bird...it's probably only 4 or 5pm prior to the lewis party...

i hope this makes sense...

One of the worst lighting inconsistencies in Seinfeld occured in 'The Parking Space'. I'm sure everyone is familiar with it because it is so blatantly obvious, but for those who are not, it is when Jerry first starts talking to the little boy (Matthew?). One second it is daylight and the next it is night time! What's up with that?

You are right, it does get dark early. I also didn't take into account that George might be meeting them for lunch much later than noon. Good job!
