Looks like the writers had just enough material for half a show on 2/5. The stuff with Kramer hiding the key has to rank somewhere in the top 10 SeinBits. And George's girlfriend saying no to the breakup was vintage material. But the second half was way over the top, as seems to happen more and more lately...
