And the winner is...

...... huh? What happened?

I'd forgotten about this bit of ambiguity in "The Contest", but it seems pretty obvious that the winner was never resolved. Did they run out of time? Jerry's virgin girlfriend leaves him, so he takes advantage of the nude woman view from his living room. While George is at the hospital, he's overwhelmed twice by the nurse giving a woman a sponge bath nearby, especially when phrases like "ooh, that's good" emanate from behind the curtain. So, who actually succumbed first? Someone did a great job of pointing out George's indirect reference to the contest in another episode, where he fends off the need of masturbation by saying "I won a contest." But George is a self proclaimed liar. Was he lying THIS time? Hmmm...

Does anyone besides me feel George had an unfair advantage by starting the contest right after he got caught? I mean, maybe Jerry had held off for weeks or months before the Contest started and was near the breaking point from the get-go. And then for him to be unexpectedly dumped by The Virgin while George *chose* to watch the women at the hospital. I think Jerry should be awarded the victory.
