Fans discuss local radio station interruptions during 'The Contest' episode in different markets, expressing frustration over promotional activities disrupting the broadcast.
If you could post an e-mail address for WIBC, and possibly the names of the offenders, I'm sure all the loyal Seinfeld fans reading this newsgroup would support you by e-mailing the aforesaid losers and letting them know that their actions are not acceptable.
We just had something of a similar nature happen here in Phoenix during 'The Contest'. It's the first episode that I taped and the idiots at a local radio station are giving away tickets to the upcoming Unlimited Hydroplane Boat races. You have to call their morning show the next day and answer a trivia question about the previous night's episode of 'Seinfeld'. They didn't actually appear on screen, but instead of buying commercial time during the show, they convinced the local station to run a 'message scroll' at the bottom of the screen during the scene where the 'contest' is initiated. How rude!
