Last night, after the umpteenth showing of "Cleaning House" in the last week, MTV Europe showed Scared Straight. And yea, what did show up as the next-to-last video, but the Plasmatics, running an exploding bus into a wall of TVs. I have to admit, this video was pretty cool. Well, maybe not the music, but the visual stuff. No censorship of "Punk Rock Girl", either (that is, Beavis was waving his lighter around).
I've only caught MTV Europe showing a censored version once --- it was "Comedians", and they skipped Beavis lighting the newspapers, and the shots of the club burning. But when they ran it again a few weeks later, these scenes were back. Must have just been a temporary screwup.
Now, if only these fartknockers would put BnB on at a regular time. They seem to be settling into a 9:30-10 pm time slot, but you can't trust MTV Europe not to arbitrarily reschedule their weekday nights for some lame Depeche Mode concert or something like that.
