Age of people who appreciate b.b

What is the age of the people that begin to not understand b&b (in your opinion)?

For instance, my mom watched a tape of b&b and she absolutely hated it, and did not understand it at all. she's about 45 - 50 yrs old. I, however, am 21 and think its hilarious. I would guess after 30 it would make no sense.

You would guess wrong, butt monkey. I'm 32 and Beavis and Butthead make me laugh painfully hard. It's not age, dumbass, it's your sense of humor, which some of us elders have not only retained but honed to a fine and wonderous point.

Gotta go now... time to change my Depends...

Really? Me too. We should, like, hook up or something, 'cause I'm worried that I'm never going to score and stuff. Maybe you could give me some...uh...support...huhhuhhhuhhuhuhhuhuhhuh...

Okay, yeah, let's do it. ehemehe hehe "It". Hey, no, wait... if you're 32 and you've never scored, you'd be, like, a virginia or something. Woah. But then again, if you've been spanking your monkey all this time, you'd probably be pretty good at it by now. Hmmm...

Ummmm...I should have said I'm worried that I'm never going to score AGAIN. It's been, like, a LONG time...uhehhuehehehe...long...uhhhh... waitaminute...that sucks...uhhhhh...

Meheuehemehemeh...ask the expert...huhhhuhuhhuhhhuhh...that's me... I'm, like, so good at it, I'm afraid when I finally get a chick and score again, she won't measure up...and I'll be "up" for hours on end. huhhuhuhuhhuhuuhuhhhhhehemehehemehe...

I am 35 and Beavis & Butthead ROOL!

I think you must have to be a real like old dude to like not get the plot hhehmmhehm.

Anyone who like says over thirty is like old and stuff is a fudgepacking saddlemonkey and deserves to like not reach that age or something.

Thirtysomething B&B fans ROCK!

hehemehe hehehemehe ehehemehe "saddlemonkey". That rules.

Um, not to mention that the Almighty Mike Judge is over thirty...

Hmmm....Turdysomething, wasn't that the show with the super.wussies that were whining about stuff like "Oh No! My Volvo Wagon's radio won't pickup the 24 hr Kenny G station anymore!"?

I agree. I think only after 30 can one *really* fully appreciate B&B in all its subtle and headspinning irony. Except people who are too old to have a sense of humor... and I think that starts at about eighteen in some butt-munching segments of the population.

I'm 24 and I love it, and my friends in the U.K. love it too (much to my surprise). One is 24 as well and the other is 30. I think the key is to realize that we're laughing AT them, not WITH them.... Errr, me & my friends all like it, sir, and we're all over 30. I'm 36.
I guess understanding B&BH is a matter of being cool more than being young.
My girlfriend pretends she doesn't like it and says it's 'guy humor',
but she laughs at it anyway. She ROTFL when Beavis did his Telemundo stuff.

What other comedy shows do B&BH fans like?

Second City TV!! Second funniest television show of all time. Had the good grace to go off the air when it began to get less funny, unlike a certain pathetic old dinosaur which tries to fob itself as an irreverent, satirical American television tradition. Which ranks right up there with the Institutionalized Revolutionary Party of Mexico as one of my favorite oxymorons... only the PRI is actually funnier.

I'm 32 and I love the show. But I think you're right there probably is a cut off at some point where the show loses its appeal. I would say the range is probably around 14-30.

A lot of it depends on the things that you've been exposed to and what you're into also.

I'll be 34 in a couple of weeks and I think it's hilarious! Pretty much all the guys at work love it too. I would say the problem was that it was his MOM. I have encountered very few women that like the show. It IS pretty much geared towards guys.

I think we've pretty much established that there's plenty of us old dudes that like B&B & stuff..

So like maybe its just us after all - I mean it's on too late for kiddies anyway.. and they wouldn't understand the real humor anyway - only the slapstick.

Come on admit it, like all the best kids shows, it was REALLY made for those of us grown up dudes who are still cool ;-)

Or not. Whatever. OK OK I ADMIT IT I only really watch because DVD is my hero ok!! Hehhehhhehe um ehheh It could be worse, I could worship Tom Anderson and lust after his babe of a wife..

Dave

My boyfriend's mother around 50 likes it.

I let my son watch it and he is 11 He loves it.

I am a woman and I love the show. Maybe it is more geared towards the guys but I still like it and find a lot of humor in it even from a woman's stand point. I really get a kick out of that "Hey baby" thing. Actually I like just about everything. I see nothing morally wrong with the show., I watch it with my son. We both have a good laugh from it all the time. I get a lot of shit from family tho. They all hate it.

NOTHING makes sense after you're 30, D. (if I may call you D.). Once you've hit the big three-oh you might as well roll up in a ball and die. I just wish it hadn't taken me seventy years to discover this sad fact.

P.S. Is this YOU, Dale, or can anybody really be THIS stupid? P.P.S. Skip that last one. I checked the header and this one's real.

Listen up DILLWEED! This 32 year old has tapes of every episode in existence (including the FIRE episodes and the FROG BASEBALL clip from Liquid Television!) So...like... kiss my ass or something... Write something that doesn't suck!

PS: I liked the show more when Judge did his own art work, not like that Korean crap...uh hu hu hu, uh hu hu hu...

I guess age has nothing to do with it. I suck. It must be a coolness factor. I apologize for insulting the cool old people. I have b.b waves I could post if anyone wants them, as a gesture of my sincere apologies. I'm too lazy to actually list them tho.

I also thought the first b.b episodes were the best, nothing else has made me laff so hard as those. Were talking gut busting, rolling on the ground type laffing here.

WHOA, WHOA, WHOA WHOAWHOAWHOAWHOA!! You think posting binaries is an apology? Do it, and your ass will be sore from the kicking you will recieve. DAMMIT PEOPLE READ THE FAQ!

And if you're smart you'll be too lazy to post them too. Sir Ass-Kicker, Sir Spanks-a-Lot, One Adam 69, Sir Psycho, the late Miss Manners, and the Good Reverend are just waiting to kick your sphincter up through your teeth. For a collidge boy, you sound pretty damn dumb.

I think since MIke Judge has had to refine the comedy to not include fire and other banned stuff, that it is just as funny when he makes fun of the censors.
