3rd generation couch animation??

You know I'm really glad Mike Judge decided to go back to first season animatino for Beavis and Butt-Head(and pretty much the whole show) in front of the couch. It wasn't until yesterday that I noticed he took the first season frames(when they actually looked like Beavis and Butt-Head!), and put the new couch behind them.

Still don't know what I'm talknig about? Look at the couch animation in the beginning of Comedians or even Car Wash. Beavis looks WAY too geometrical, almsot completely composed of horizontal and vertical lines. His Jaw opens up like a clamp. Now it goes back to the original way, where his jaw's human. Still it's funny to see Beavis Turned to the left or right and talking.

Probably the first episode he kicks it 'old school' was True Crime. I forgot when he started to introduce sound effects in the little couch clips(like when they air guiatar/bob head).

Any cool comments?

I think they're new frames.... because they're much more high-quality than the ones we saw during the first season, before they went to the couch animation where they look all different.

Actually I noticed that Beavis's jaw is moving a lot wider than ever, another reason I think it's new frames. But what I liked the most was that Butt-head looked like Butt-head, and not some amateur's rendering of it (the amateur's rendering is seen almost ENTIRELY throughout the Christmas special, his mouth looks misshapen. This animation was also used at the beginning of "Beware of the Butt", where his voice wasn't right either.)

You mean using the real B&BH for the couch? Well, if you're referring to when they're watching the videos with all those sums of cash, I guess they HAD to.
