Need info about mtv marathon

Could anyone who watched the mtv marathon on the east or west coast please respond to this:

I watched the marathon on the west coast and went to sleep after about 2 hours of it, content with the knowlege that my mother who lives in champaign, Illinois was recording it for me. According to her TV guide, it was suppoesed to last 8 hours, but she said it only went 4 hours!!!

Did anyone see more than 4 hours of this thing? How long did it last on the East coast? West coast? (They definitely showed it at different times, because itr started at 9pm in IL and at 10 pm in California, so this may have been a local cable company screw up)

Please tell me I didn't miss a chance to get 8 hours of B+B on video tape!

I'm from Eastern PA. It only lasted 4 hours here. It sucked. MTV sucks.
