It had two authors -- Mike Judge and voice director Kristofor Brown.

I think there were 3 people given credit for writing this one. One of them was Mike Judge. I remember him saying in an interview that Cornholio was invented by his friend (One of the co-writers) and he added a lot of Cornholio's expressions.
