I've got a question.. Not sure if this was ever asked/or answered before. Why is it that on all the licenced T-Shirts, Book, etc.. Beavis has "Death Rock" on his shirt (instead of "Metallica") and Butt-Head has "Skull" on his shirt (instead of "AC/DC")??? Just curious? Anyone know?

It has something to do with paying royalties on printed matter.
They get away with it on the cartoon I don't know why. If I was with AC/DC (besides being cool and incredibly RICH) I would WANT B&B to have my band's name printed on the posters. We have one here at the office where B&B are in their (don't know WHO's) bedrrom surrounded by boxews (opps damn fatfingers) BOXES of M80s and kerosene.
Didnt Ren&Stimpy start out on MTV then they got complaints about it so they toned it down and moved it to Nickelodian? And now that beavis and butt-head are getting complaints they move Ren&Stimpy back to MTV in the 7 oclock time slot to fill for B&BH? MTV is a bunch of whimps, they have the john stuwart show on with far worse language and actions in it than B&BH on BEFORE B&BH.... Someone needs to have the folks at this so-called mtv.com with the beavis and butthead email accounts to get their asses on usenet and read this stuff, maybe theyll realize that there is no need to whimp out if they leave it at 10:30-11....

I guess it's probably liscenceing stuff... AC/DC and Metallica are both trademarked, and they'd have to pay royalties to the groups....
