IS MTV TRYING TO DISCOURA

This is how MTV has been doing the new episodes for about a year now. I don't really have a problem with it, as if I really like one of the new episodes, I can tell friends to watch for it the next night (or I can tape it the next night). Personally, I'd rather MTV do it this way, than mix the new episodes with ones they've rerun over 100 times so far (like BEARD BOYS or FALLING BACK).

I wasn't talking about how they run the new episodes. I was referring to how they handle the reruns.

Granted, those episodes are played out but that's my point. The show has been airing long enough now that they don't have to wear out any particular episode. If someone would just take some time and effort with the scheduling, they could sustain more viewers during the rerun times. I know some people that only watch during the week of the new episodes because they're so put out with the way MTV handles this show.

Finally, I will say in all fairness that this week (3/25-3/28) it appears that they deviated from their normal routine. I didn't see any reruns repeated during the entire week.

Let's hope it's a new trend.
