Heh heheheh heheheheh hehehhehe He said, "Fire."
huh hu hhmmm hum heh yeah, fire Fire FIRE!!!!!
=paul= (preparing to shut down uhhhhh somethin')
UH HUH HUH HUH, YOU GOT IT DUDE.
Well, I saw Ho Ho Huh last night!
It was very funny.
Highlights =>
*** The channel with the fireplace
(We all know on Christmas that PBS just runs a long videotape of a
fireplace)
*** Beavis describes the true meaning of Christmas. Butt-Head asks
Beavis what Christmas means, and Beavis says sort of fast that it is
the celebration of the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ.
(For us B&B fans, we know that's out of Beavis's character, wich is
what made it funny)
*** The Califonia Rasins Video "If a turd could talk..."Out of his character? If you recall, Beavis is the one who proclaimed that Christ is cool. I'm beginning to believe that, at some point in his history, Beavis was subjected to some form of Christian based education (Beavis Goes To Sunday School). :)
So, "us B&B fans" know that this was hardly the first time Beavis made a decidedly Christian comment.
-- Trav, watching too much BnBH...
In article ,
Notice, no flames whatsoever from the logs. That sucks.
I thought they would have gone into a "Christ is cool" thing like they did with some Christian videos. they'd be going on about how he could turn water into beer, etc...
And just when you thought you'd heard the last of Max Headroom... I'm surprised they didn't bash him because he was playing wuss music. But instead, "That was Co-Co-Co-Cool!"
I'm damn glad I was taping the special... Max had all but faded from memory, but he's back! :)
Sorry, but I miss the Max Headroom Show, miss his Cinemax talk show, the cyberpunk series... those were the days, especially for geeks like me. :)
-- Trav, knowing he's going to get at least one "That show was dumb" comment
In a previous article, [email] (Nick Bensema) says:
Speaking of Max Hedroom, what's his real name, he sounds like the guy from In Living Color who does Fire Marshall Bill (or Bob)
Nope, wrong guy. Max was played by Matt Frewer (at least, I think that's his name). He had a sit-com running for a while not too long ago, also appeared on ST:TNG as a time traveler. He's appeared in a bunch of other stuff, but those are the only specifics I can remember at this time.
-- Trav, watching a little Channel 23
He does the voice of the Pink Panther in the new cartoons. (Does anybody really like the talking Pink Panther better than the original?)
Not to start a thread, but no. It sucks, heh heh m heh heh.
THE ORIGINAL WAS IS A LOT BETTER. THIS NEW ONE SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HAHAHAHAHAUHHUHHUHUHUHUHUHUHUHUHUHHHHHHHHHH

He's also the voice of the title character in the new Pink Panther cartoons. Talk about things that suck.
Incidentally, I thought that Beavis's description of "what Christmas means" ("christmas is the celebration of the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ") had quite a cynical message behind it, both because Beavis said it with those little bubbles bursting around his head, like he was in a trance or something, and because he then can't remember it; "I asked about the meaning of Christmas and you said a bunch of stuff really fast and I couldn't understand it." "No... no man, I didn't say nothing."
I dunno, it just seemed like there was a message there. Forgive me, Father, for I have presumed to find a social statement in a Beavis and Butt-head episode.
I don't know about you all, but I thought this episode was totally lame. I found maybe two or three things that I thought were humorous in the half-hour. I hope the writers haven't hit a rut like the Simpsons have been in for most of the shows this season. I can't say that I really blame the writers though, I'd bet that half the stuff they write for the show gets axed by the censors/lawyers of MTV. Censorship SUCKS! I just wonder how much Tipper "I founded the fucking PMRC" Gore has to do with this...
