What to Use to Transfer From Video to Computer mpegs????

I have a large collection of Beavis and Butthead Episodes, From what I can tell I am Missing around Five episodes, I want to Transfer them to some form of Mpeg, or something simaler.. Have no Idea what software or Hardware I would need, I have a ATI TV tuner/Video in Card, but I Got no clue where to start...Any Ideas

They will help you get startted with tuts on how to do alot of stuff. Most of it is just ripping off a dvd, but with a ATI card you can do it also just need a fast enough computer to keep up with the screen captures or the software.. :P Which the sites are for.
