After watching tonight's episodes, I am a little happier than before. During the last episode of the night, "Scared Straight," Beavis finally made a reference to fire. I was very happy to see this. I feel that Beavis was much funnier when he was a pyro, although he is very funny now that he has become dumber in the new season than he was last season.
During the last two videos of the episode, the first being the video with the chick driving the bus through the televisions, Beavis said fire fire fire. Also in the last video, "Punk Rock Girl," Buhhead says
"THis really sucks." Beavis replies,
"No it doesn't. It's not that bad," and he holds up a lighter.
Maybe the next time I see the episode with Barney the dinosaur, his hands will once again be shown on fire, but Im not keeping my fingers crossed.
All in all, I hope that the needless censoring of Beavis and Butthead will come to an end (at least until someone burns down their house again, and the parents decide to blame it on MTV rather than bad parenting).
