I gotta share this with you guys....

The following post is a recount of an experience of a friend of mine, Nigel Linssen, at the Morris campus of the U of Minnesota. Laugh your butts off!...

Saturday night, me and my posse were looking for kicks, so we decided to hide out in HFA (home of the artsy-fartsy people; the second largest building on campus) and wait until the guards locked up and get wild and crazy.

We hid in the choir room for about an hour, and then we wandered around, doing exotic gymnastic maneuvers on the couches and playing piano in the practice room, checking for unlocked rooms (the audio-visual room was unlocked, much to our surprise and delight).

Anyway, we had just about exhausted our fun when we hear a sound, which I took to be an alarm of some kind. I ran, and everyone followed. It soon became apparent that it had been a human scream, short and succinct. We were not alone in HFA (a.k.a. HOFFA).

We retreated into the choir room, and debated what we should do next. I wanted to leave, the others wanted to investigate. My friend Josh opens the door and pokes his head out, and much to his surprise sees a man, buck naked, coming towards him.

He closes the door, and says in a shocked manner, "there's a naked guy out there!".

I didn't hear this, as I was behind the sound-dampening walls in the rear of the room. I was still back there when the naked person opened the door, and stared at us for about five seconds. I rounded the corner just in time to see a naked being desceding the staircase in front of the room's only window.

Seconds later, a naked female streaked across. I thought it was a good time to leave, so we ran out the back door and proceeded to laugh our asses off.

Now, we found out later that there were actually SIX naked people running around HOFFA--and there were five of us. We were outnumbered by naked folk!

Now, I understand boredom. Morris lacks the element of excitement. But apparently, some folks find some mighty interesting ways of combating this problem. They were upperclassmen, so who knows? By the time we're seniors, maybe we'll be running around naked too.
