Some of you might recall back in the late 70's, ABC had a hugely popular show called THREE'S COMPANY (John Ritter, Joyce DeWitt, Suzanne Somers). Someone came up with the idea of putting their landlords, The Ropers, into their own show. It was a tremendous flop, and the popularity of the original seemed to decline as well. I think the same thing would happen if spin-off's of BEAVIS AND BUTTHEAD were attempted. B&B make the show, and is the reason everyone watches it. MTV should just put all their efforts into keeping the B&B show the way it is, but adding more episodes. Also, THE BROTHERS GRUNT is a good example of how MTV tried to repeat B&B's success, and you see how that went!!!
