Beavis Question

Hey, I got a Beavis question to all you crazy obsessed fans, Is Beavis Left-Handed or Right-Handed?

Beavis writes left-handed, but he plays guitar right-handed. You see him writing lefty in the "Be All You Can Be" episode when the two sign their names to the draft sign-up sheet--Major Woody and Private Parts. But whenever they head-bang to a song that's rockin', Beavis strums with his right hand, his left pinky going up and down as if to change the notes on the neck of the guitar. This writing lefty/playing righty trait is not uncommon; it's like lefty athletes who throw right-handed.

The fact that I know this is sad in itself.

Science dictates the simplest explanation be the prefered one. It's more probable that Beavis is just immitating most guitar players and is too stupid to realize that being left handed he should do it the other way around. That the art of air-guitar is pretty much an ambidexterous thing seeing as how it doesn't really require any skill on the part of either the strumming or 'keying' hand (the lack of skill requirements make it an ideal activity for B&B).

I was just watching the episode where they take the intelligence test to get bumped into the gifted class (not Sperm Bank). I remembered this thread and saw them both clearly writing with there right hands. Plus, they both always sit at right handed desks (though with their brain power that doesn't mean much).

Also, in one of the episodes, Beavis is flossing his teeth at a bathroom mirror while Butt-head is taking a dump. While they are exchanging comments on whose parents should be called "for a good time," you can see the words "Nate Wuz Here" above the urinal, but backwards, as they just used an old sketch of the bathroom and reversed it to try to get a different sense of perspective. Cheezy, yes. So, if they can't be bothered to wonder why somebody would write backwards on a bathroom wall, I don't think Beavis' handedness is foremost in their minds.

Not so... I can air guitar with my arms pointing left, but not right (it feels weird).. I'm right handed.

I never really paid attention to Beavis. I thought he just stuck his fist in the air... Butthead actually moves his arms, so I notice him more.

besides, Beavis is always facing Butthead, which is to our left and his right. (He was created in a way where he looks sstupid if he faces forward, but he could be facing his left and our righ...)

Sad as this may be, I fear I am not the only one who will be correcting you in saying that Beavis' customary sitting position is not FACING Butthead, but rather a 45 degree angle so that he looks stupidly unfocused on anything in particular (he might argue it's so he can see both the TV and Butthead, but I'll leave it to you psychologists to make the call on that one). I am sorry, this being said, I will join you, Nick in getting a life.

I think that's EXACTLY what he's doing!

If your were sitting next to someone who had the tendency to SMACK you upside the head at any moment, you'd wanna keep an eye on them too! ;)
