Medieval?

I believe it is a reference to a scene in "Pulp Fiction" where a character says something to the effect that he's going to call a couple of his boys over with pliers and blowtorches to "get medieval" on somebody's ass.

Can't be, cause I've heard it on MST3K long before Pulp Fiction was made. And it's been used twice so far on B&B-H! I wish I knew what it meant.

PS - Does anyone else think the new "we'll be right back" thingies by David Spade aren't funny? It's kinda like he's dissing the whole show...

I didn't know it had been used on MST3K (and I'm a loyal fan, too! I guess I need to pay more attention).

Obviously, they're referring to torture, although I don't know where the phrase first popped up.

I agree... it sucks. I prefer "...Butt-head wounds Beavis's inner child, and they talk about it" and the Spanish stuff.
