I just took a look at _This Book Sucks_ and iside of it is a family tree that definitely links beavis and butthead as half brothers. They both have different mothers, but are the fruit of the loins of some mystery man. Again, according to the book, there are three possibilities:

They don't necessarily have the same father. Both Ma Beavis and Ma Butthead apparently slammed all three of these guys about the same time, so it's possible that they are half-brothers. they are at Buttheads house. In kidnapped Butthead says " Stewart, get out of my house." I don't know if beavis lives there though.

Yes, but in the episode which begins with a homeowner's insurance comercial coming on the TV, doesn't Butthead make some reference about Beavis paying attetion, because it concerns Beavis? I don't remember the exact line-- could a more scholarly B&B watcher back me up on this one?

it's pretty funny, and i must admit, one of my favorite lines. (*right behind: "I'm Bunghead, and he is Crevis..." from incognito*)
Beavis does not live there. In one episode (I think the one with the Grace Jones video), Beavis asks Butthead if he can sleep over. Butthead replies that he'll have to ask his mom's boyfriend.
I still can't figure what the whole point is behind this "homeowner's insurance" stuff or why it's so funny. What am I missing here?! Is it in how you say the words in homeowner or something? Later.
If you listen to it, you'll hear "homo" within the first two syllables. *That* is what Butt-head is referring to. I'm sure he couldn't care less about owning his own residence. :)
Yup! The "homo" in "homeowner" is used in another episode - they wreck Mr. Anderson's house (paint or tree, I forget). Anderson mentions that he has "homeowner's insurance" which gets laughs from B&B.

What about Todd from "The Crush?" They both think, "Todd's cool." Even though Todd's only in one episode, both B-n-B seem to see him as (good heavens) a role model, and a father figure. Who knows? Maybe he's their real dad.

No chance. Todd is one of the students from the "un"gifted class in "Young, Crude, and Gifted"(that title is just a guess). At any rate, Todd is definitly supposed to be just a few years older than B-n-B. BTW, is it just me, or does that gifted episode suck out loud? The only thing cool about it was the videos, Buzzcut threatening to physically kill people, and the brainiac's noggin getting deflated.

Homeowner's insurance isn't really important. B&B see "homeowner" as a combination of the words "homo" and "moaner." Also, B&B are watching a video (maybe Alice Cooper) and Beavis asks Butt-head if he can spend the night at Butt-head's house because he is scared.
