I think what that dillknocker who thinks Beavis' first name is "Brian" is referring to is this:
They're watching a video by BRIAN (yes, Brian) SETZER (sp?), former lead singer of the Stray Cats. He does some move where he strokes his guitar neck rapidly. B&B are off camera:
BV: WHOAH, HE'S CHOKING HIS CHICKEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BH: Whoah ... huh-huh. Settle, down, Brian!
While this does sound like something he would normally say to Beavis, BUTT-HEAD IS TALKING TO THE GUY ON THE SCREEN, WHOSE NAME IS BRIAN, NOT TO BEAVIS, YOU DUMBASS!
BEAVIS' NAME IS SIMPLY "BEAVIS"!!! HE DOESN'T NEED A FIRST NAME ANY MORE THAN "FLIPPER" DOES!
