Hey, Butt-fans!

So, uh, I was like, uh, thinking, or something . . .

How come Beavis and Butt-head wear "Metallica" and "AC/DC" shirts on MTV episodes, but, like, in the comic books, calendar, and the CD cover, their shirts say stuff like "Skull" and "Death Rock"?

That's stupid! And it sucks, too!

Is it, like, a legal thing or something?

licensed products.

About three hours ago, I modemed the final version of "Beavis and Butt-head" for the Sega Genesis back East to a big tall building in mid-town Manhattan. It's going to be a great game, because I don't like making things that suck.

Anyway, it's OK for the band names, and things like the inverted McDonald's logo they use for "Burger World" to appear on the cartoon, because it's *satire.* The shirts in the Genesis game say "Skull" and "Death Rock" because this is *merchandise,* licensed and sold for a profit.

Hope that, like, helps or something.

I have heard a lot of rumors about potential B&B games floating around, is this the one where the boys lose their GWAR concert tickets and have to find them? How about giving us a little shameless plug on this game? <g>

Chris Butthead: Huh huh, hey Beavis, what's a word that rhymes with Venus? Beavis: Ummmmm.... Uhhhhhhhhh.... Um... Flytrap!

find them?

This one ain't no rumour. I've been working, with my team of artists and programmers, for over a year now creating "Beavis and Butt-head" for the Sega Genesis. Basically, Mr. Anderson's poodle eats their GWAR tickets, and pukes them up in front of the riding mower, which chews them out and sends pieces everywhere. The object of the game is to find the ticket pieces and get in to see the GWAR show. Along the way, all the familiar cast of characters interact with B&B in their quest for the ticket pieces.

This game was developed with the close co-operation of everyone on the show at MTV, GWAR, and us hackers. Watch for it around October 15th, and to make a splash at CES in Chicago next week.

IMHO, which is definitely biased ;) this game is really fun and faithful to the show. In fact, I'd go so far as to say it's like an interactive version of about 20 different episodes. In other words, don't expect to press L, L, L, R, D, A then B, and have Beavis throw a Yoga flame at his opponent...

Sounds cool! I don't have a Genesis, but I imagine come October I may be spending some 'quality time' with my cousins!

Chris Beavis (all excited): Whoaaa, that's a big ass skull Beavis!! I mean... Butthead.

What's wrong with the Burger World logo? It technically isn't the same as McDonald's, so why can't they use it in the game?
