Another B&B Rant

Well, since it is quiet in this newsgroup, I decided to liten it up a little.

Is it me or does King Of The Hill resemble B&B? IMO, KOTH looks like a rehased B&B. I watched KOTH several days ago for about 10 minutes & it sure does bear a resemblence to B&B. I mean Hank Hill looks & sounds like Tom Anderson. Hank Hill's son sounds & looks like Stewert. And the other characters look & sound like B&B characters. KOTH seems like a tame version of B&B.

Don't get me wrong. I like Mike Judge & his animation style is great but B&B was his greatest cartoon. I bet you that if Mike Judge could get the rights to B&B back from MTV he could then make new episodes. IMO, if new episodes of B&B would be made, I bet you that many B&B fans would watch the new episodes.

Another thing which should happen is that MTV should release all of the B&B episodes on DVD. The DVD should be like what FOX is doing with the X-Files & The Simpsons or like HBO is doing with The Sopranos & Sex In The City. IMO, if MTV would release all of the B&B episodes on DVD with the complete episodes, music videos included & extras then this would rule. If this would happen then B&B fans would not have to complain about B&B no being shown on TV since we would be able to buy the episodes.

That's very true....also I watched it once where Bobby had a couple of school friends over to the house and one of the friends had Buttheads exact voice (but without the "huhuhuh")

Maybe or maybe not...could be that he was just *over it* too. Butt...I find it hard to believe that someone who created BnB would be happy with KOTH. What a letdown that is!!! And what a complete change too....uhuhuh...it's like he got mature or something. dammit! ehheheh

I always thought that....as an alternative to bringing back the old BnB shows...maybe it would be cool to start a new series about BnB....but this time, they would be in their 20's and be room-mates... ehehheeh and STILL trying to score. ;-P

I still remember how B&B were at the height of their popularity when the Beavis & Butt-head Are Dead episode aired. MTV sould take a hint from what is happening on EBAY, people are making a killing off selling B&B episodes on EBAY & MTV would make money like that if they just sell all of the B&B episodes.

A series of the BnB episodes would be the greatest thing; MTV/Mike Judge could make a killing on these from fans of these epi"choads".... Yeah, it's been a while, but Nick at Nite is a good example of how past series live on. Not sure how they could work out putting the videos in (coordination/royalties with the artists/studios that created them), but the episodes alone would be enough, IMHO.
