I wish you would stop screwing with my idea! I am *quite* capable of string together a cmsg post without your help. Two people trying to create one group will really piss people off. BTW, I have created alt.binaries.beavis-n-butthead as it conforms to most usenet regulations (apart from the 14 character thing) and it (hopefully) won't get rmgrouped. If it does, there will be a lot of people let down as we agree in this group (a.t.beavis-n-butthead) that it is a Good Idea.

We've gotten by without an alt.binaries.beavis-n-butthead for years and years, by shear asskicking. This arrangement has worked reasonably well, and has given something for people to do. It has also bonded the old-timers in the group together. If we needed this and it was as simple as you think it is, we would have created it a long time ago.

This is well-meaning attempt by some newcomers, who apparently don't understand that the united front against binary posting is much of what keeps this newsgroup alive.
