So, MTV finally bit the bullet and aired "Door to Door" and "Blood Drive". I've been watching B&B steadily since the second season, and I hadn't seen those episodes aired once. "Door to Door" was a riot (although the Mistress Cora scene never could have been made today) and "Blood Drive" was almost as nauseating as "Woodshop" or "Nosebleed". :-) I was going to buy them, but hey! Now I've got 'em for free. (Sorry, Jason ;-)
Were those two episodes banned, or just lost in the shuffle?
DAMN! They showed those!!??? What time? I got the first 3-1/2 hours on tape and then my tape ran out. Figures they'd show 'em during the dinner hour! shitfuckpisscunthell!

Yeah, I got the 2nd half of "DtD" & "BD" on tape at SP, but something went wrong and there's no sound on my tape! Damn cassette! I should sue Maxell! Perfect video, no sound!

Is there any way to find out what was on the moronathon in advance? I don't want to go through the dissapointment of realizing I missed the episode I wanted to tape for the longest time.
BTW on that subject, anyone remember when MTV showed Good Credit and Home Improvement uncensored? I think it was 2-3 years ago, except I had the tape ready and got Home Improvement. Was that an accident or intentional?

Interesting! I managed to tape the uncensored Good Credit, but failed to catch Home Improvement. Coincidently, I just saw Home Improvement for the first time last night. I bought a pirated videotape of early episodes from some guy who had advertised right in this NG. I also got to see Frog Baseball, Peace Love & Understanding, and the uncensored Way Down Mexico Way.
Reportedly, the complete version of Way Down Mexico Way aired only twice. Some scenes are so outrageous, I'm surprised it ever aired in its entirety at all! B&B wander into a kid's birthday party in Mexico, and the kids are playing with a pinyata(sp?). Butt-head takes the bat, bashes the birthday kid's brains in with it, and then steals his box of fireworks. To Beavis he says, "This game is cool."
Also, while helping their pal to smuggle dope over the Mexican border, he tells B&B to swallow condoms filled with narcotics. They do, and don't even know they were supposed to tie knots in the condoms!
When I saw that, I thought to myself, "This is cool."
It was smart of me to tape the early episodes when they first aired. There was a lot of controversy surrounding B&B when the show was new, and I suspected that it might be censored in the near-future. Of course, my expectations proved correct. It's actually easier to get hold of a complete 1918 Ben Turpin movie than it is to find certain B&B cartoons from 5 years ago! The censored episodes are not aired on TV, nor are they available (commercially) on home video!

Unfortunately, my cable company didn't offer MTV as a basic cable network, instead it was a premium one. Wen it got MTV as basic, it was up to the season that started with "Comedians", and I was only able to get a few episodes uncensored :P.

Hey, did you guys notice during the moronathon last Friday that they showed Part 2 of Citizen Butt-head, without Part 1? There was even a title card at the beginning saying "Citizen Butt-head (Part 2)". WTF is MTV thinking?
