i just downloaded some BnB sound files from sounds.sdsu.edu. Does anybody know how to run these files? What is the name of the program that is used to run these files?
I would appreciate it if a fellow BnB fan out there could clue me in on this.

.au format is specific to SunStation systems, but can be converted to about any format (.wav, .snd, .voc, etc). There is a program called SOX7DOS, which runs on MS-DOS. It can be found on a Simtel mirror in the MSDOS.SOUND directory. In the same directory is a file called SOUND.ZIP, which will play MAC .snd files on an IBM-PC (DOS).

.au files is the standard sound file on Sun's, and since I don't know what you're using, I can't tell you exactly what to do. But you can't run them, you'll need a sound player program such as SoundEdit/Sound Master on the Mac, something else on Windows etc. They all use different file formats, as well, which is why you'll need a program to convert it... sorry. I use "sox" to do just that, and it's available for most systems. Tell me what kind of computer you have and I'll help you more,
