I'm back...

Hi, everybody... I'm back from deepest, darkest Africa.

It was tough, but I'm happy to report that I successfully made it to the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro (uh huh huh, "mount"), the highest point in Africa, 19,340 feet above sea level. It took us 6 days to climb it. A lot of rock scrambling, no ropes.

Other things that may interest the folks in this NG:

My tent-mate was from Virginia Beach... he didn't know Gary M. though.

Gary, you'll be interested to know that among other perils we had to endure on the climb were safari ants... they'll climb up your legs and they bite.

After the climb, we went on safari looking at animals, and saw blue-balled monkeys.

We saw a male elephant chasing after a female elephant in heat. He had a schlong so big that it looked like he had 5 legs! An elephant's schlong weighs 40 to 50 pounds.

Good trip, but good to be back.

Hi, Cyberbutt, welcome back! Interesting about the elephant's weiner - seems like you could make a good living running some kind of safari service where people could check out wild animals' schlongs. Or maybe it would make a good Imax movie: "Throbbing Africa!" Incidentally, my schlong weighs 30 to 40 pounds.

yeh the Highland zoo is pretty useless in that respect - remember when bnB went there and ended up pulling each other's weens in the snake house, int he dark? ehehehehe

Yeah, this is a BIG city. It's actually like 4 towns that they combined into 1 big city just so they can advertise it as "The Worlds Largest Resort City" emheeheh bungholes...the actual 'resort' part is one of the smallest in the world mehehehehe
