B&B on Channel 4

Are there any other UK fans on this list (non-Sky) who are as pissed off that I am that Channel 4 just suddenly stopped dead running Beavis & Butt-head?

It was running along smoothly, and them 'poof', it suddenly just vanished. (huh huh, huh huh, he said 'poof'. huh huh) (As far as I know) they never even showed the last couple of seasons, which means there is a whole load of episodes (gotta be around 40, at least), that they've never even broadcast.

Now that they run 24-hours around the clock (and seeing that they show some real sh*t during the night-time), surely there's some small slot they can stick our two favourite morons in?

Anyone else agree? Know why they stopped running it, even? I think some serious e-mailing / letter writing should be done here. (Although I admit the words 'serious' and 'Beavis & Butt-head' don't really go together!!)

Hell yeah, i remeber like way way way back in time watchiing them on C4. Like then summit real bad happend so they banned 'em :(( At least that's how i reckon it went.

Your right tho C4 has some utter crappa on late night, BRING BACK BnB C4 !! If you want to get some sort of email thingy going i'll definitly help fight for the cause :)

I think it was simply more a case of not re-newing the rights / buying more episodes.

It was tucked away safely quite late at night and was running for a couple of years. It had some late Saturday night repeats in 1998, but then vanished. If it had actually been banned, we would have heard more about it. The later repeats proved that they still we open to run the series.

Intereasting to note is that, while I think the early episodes were still slightly toned down for the original versions, quite a few seemed to have more 'FIRE!' and dangerous behaviour than from what I've seen on MTV.

As I say, as far as I know, it's simply a case of not re-newing the rights. They prob'ly think there's no intereast. Us UK B&B gotta show them otherwise! If we ever want B&B to return in a new film or whatever, it's important to keep their public image going. We need it back on terrestrail (or as I call it, 'proper'!) TV =) I urge all UK B&B fans to request we have it back on.
