Just noticed something while watching my tapes of B&B... In all of the earlier episodes (the one where they can't laugh in class, especially), Butt-head's voice seems higher or something. Then around the beginning of the third season, it changes to the way it is now. Was someone else doing the voice then (or now), or did he just mature or something (yeah right).

No way- his voice wasn't any higher. It was lower. Beavis' too. Around the third season, both thier voices, much like the quality of the show, suddenly got higher. Higher! Higher! Higher!

That went hand-in-hand with the animation difference. As the show became better quality, Mike Judge decided to refine the characters themselves. Butt-Head's attitude became less of a Surfer-dude and more of a delinquent. Beavis became less of a shadow and everyone's favorite.

Isn't it that like er - all voices are spoken by Mike Judge and refined with electronic equipment like a vocoder and stuff? Or something. Huh huh.
