Just because they're Harvard alumni doesn't mean that collectively
they don't SUCK. Remember, "The Flintstones" had something like
25 writers, and they managed to concoct a trifling plot. I did see that RS article (in fact, I saved it) and I've since seen
some statements in RS and other mags to the effect that rockers
are asked if they're aware of their "B&B rating". Then there
was that CD, which I never heard, of the B&B-approved songs.
The most egregious example I saw of B&B commercialism was an MTV
"beach fashion show" that I saw one weekend this summer. This
show featured models wearing B&B-logo clothing. I thought I
was hallucinating the whole thing, it was so unbelievable.
