Subliminal messages in B&B

Did anyone notice that about a week ago MTV ran a mini-moronathon with 3 hours of B&B from 3 to 6 am? I taped it, and it included the episode Blackout! which I haven't seen aired in ages.

Well, I noticed that during the opening, when the title "Blackout!" comes on the screen, and then there are 2 lightning flashes, that during the lightning flashes the words "Nachos Rule" show up momentarily on the screen. It's just there for one frame--you have to run the tape one frame at a time to see it. Has anyone else noticed this??

I wonder if there are other subliminal messages embedded in other B&B episodes....

Yeah, that's in the Vidiots ep -- in the video "Love Spreads" by Stone Roses. Let us know if you figure out what Beavis is saying backwards. I've often wished I had some way to record it and play it backwards.

Ok, i recorded that part into Apple Quicktime and i played it backwards so the 1st thing i heard was really the last thing said cuz its being played backwords and here is what was said.

You've got to wonder what people from across the Atlantic would make of something like Beavis & Butthead or South Park. As someone who lives in the U.S., I have to say that it would be tough to name something more genuinely American than Beavis & Butthead.

By the way: no offense was meant to anybody anywhere in the above words, I was just curious what someone in England would make of B&B.

B and B is quite popular here in the UK. It's on MTV Europe twice a week (the only thing worth watching, as MTV stinks like a dead dog), and it's on channel 4 once a week (only for short 6-8 week runs). It's popular because most of the humour is the kind of stuff we're used to anyway. B and B Do America was in the top ten movies in it's first week of release, so lots of people over here are B and B fans. South Park is not so popular yet, but the first episode only aired here about 6 months ago, so given time it'll get fairly popular too. It'll never be as popular or as funny as B an B though. So... now you know what someone in England thinks of Beavis and Butthead!

I'm half-Brit myself, but my family escaped here to the states in the 1600's. TV probly sucked back then.

And I'm paying the cable people who don't give us B&B. It might be a better idea to get a satellite hook-up than cable....I mean, odds are somewhere in the world, Beavis & Butt-Head are being shown.

Yeah, yeah, there are subliminal messages all the the time! They say "You're a dumbass.." or something.

And one time embedded into one episode, I can't remember which one it was, but there was a brief flash of the screen and it said "Antonia is a sexy nacho". Or else my video machine is broken.
